Harriet writes poetry and memoir and she enjoys making lists.  She studied writing and solo performance with David Ford at The Marsh in San Francisco and has also studied at The New School and the University of Auckland.  She is also a student and performer of Improv which she studied with Zoe Galvez (BATS Improv) at Berkeley Rep. She grew up in Texas where she enjoyed tap dancing in musicals and singing in the church choir. These days, she performs around the San Francisco Bay Area including recent appearances at Monday Night Marsh, Tell it On Tuesday, and Solo Sundays and in a V-Day production of The Vagina Monologues.

Her first original full-length show, Sail On!, was developed with David Ford and was performed at the Boulder International Fringe Festival in August 2017 and the San Francisco Fringe Festival in September 2018. Her second full-length show, Unfriending Texas, was developed with David Ford at The Marsh as part of the Times Unseen festival and was the closing show in the festival in October 2018.

Her third play, How do you like your eggs?, is currently in development and new excerpts will be performed in the Spring 2021.

Harriet loves walking around exploring cities, wild places, and the space in between.

Food

Harriet loves finding new recipes and cooking stuff. Her current favorites are her easy quick pickled red onions and chicken and black bean tostadas with said onions.
